The Art of Pinstriping started centuries ago with decorated chariots and royal carriages, long before the Hot Rod scenec took off in the US. Since then there have been many well known stripers leaving their mark on cars, bikes, trucks and fridges, including Ed 'big daddy' Roth, Kenneth 'Von Dutch' Howard and Steve Kafka. Having always had a passion for Hot Rods - Custom Cars - Bikes and Art (from commercial sign writing to scrap metal sculptures and custom leathers) , it seemed only natural to bring them all together with pinstriping. I find inspiration everywhere, from underground culture through to tattoo design, art deco and celtic art. All my striping is by hand, with brushes using one shot enamel paint. Also being a signwriter by day i can hand cut vinyl pinstriping decals and stickers, or any vinyl stickers to your specifc design.
